I have known Ernest for over a decade, because of the cycling charity we have done through South East Asia.  His camaraderie, life wisdom, sense of humor and his dedication to the success of others are amongst his remarkable qualities. KURZ is established in Perak since 1996 and employ locally closed to 300 skilled / highly skilled people, mainly in manufacturing / finishing.

Our company started with Ernest / Back2Basics a comprehensive program to uplift our HR competence in 2023.Our initial focus was on Domestic Inquiry, managing termination and progressive discipline.

Ernest approach was for us very convincing:

  • the training was flexible enough to take into account our organizational specificity, our culture.
  • we included both our HR Team but also managers / executives working in our manufacturing / finishing process.
  • Ernest brought his vast and leading experience as HR practicing lawyer in the training: practical experience were brought in to illustrate the training and making the topic more accessible for our Team members.
  • we worked and are currently working on solutions tailored to our organizations. Nothing generic derived from books, BUT solutions that are worked in the team, for the Team. This is a big PLUS for us.
  • role play were added to make the training more dynamic, clearer.
